House IPA

6.5% ABV- Our latest IPA is a true hybrid with a contemporary ample body on top of a crystal malt character true to the classic West Coast IPAs of our beer heroes. We have the honor of using NC 1707 hops from the experimental hop breeding program at NC State. Every year, volunteers from WNC gather in Mills River to harvest these new hops. We joined in the harvest this year and in exchange we get to take some back to the studio and get brewing with them. These hops have great oil content and express themselves in a way that any lover of Centennial and Amarillo would recognize. This is a very special small batch that utilizes the finest local malts and hops that are available, and we can't wait for you to try the best of WNC in a glass.
