Carolina Common

5.7% ABV- An ode to the meaning of the word local. We teamed up with a dozen breweries in Asheville for AVL Beer Week 2023 to bring our community a truly special Summer crusher: Carolina Common. A beautiful base of Avalon Pale from Riverbend Malt pairs perfectly with a specialty orange corn from Farm and Sparrow Mill cracked locally for our cereal mashing pleasure. We all took turns stirring and cooking up this corn, painstakingly transferring it into the mash tun to celebrate our local history of brewing with unmalted corn. The result is a crisp and refreshing lager-ale hybrid, courtesy of White Labs AVL Cream Ale blend.
